Introduction
Tshipi é Ntle Manganese Mining invites passionate, driven, and dedicated individuals to apply for its Engineering Learnership Programme (18.2). This comprehensive 36-month programme combines structured workplace experience with accredited trade-related training, offering a solid foundation for a successful engineering career. The opportunity is open exclusively to residents of the JTG District.
Upon successful completion of the programme, learners will receive a recognised MQA/QCTO Trade Test Certificate. Learnership opportunities are available in the following trades:
- Electrician x1
- Fitter (Fitting and Turning) x1
- Boilermaker x1
- Diesel Mechanic x1
- Millwright x1
- Instrumentation Mechanician x1
Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate fully in both theoretical and practical training as outlined in the learnership/apprenticeship curriculum.
- Comply with all mine safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) regulations.
- Wear the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Report any unsafe conditions, hazards, or incidents without delay.
- Demonstrate discipline, punctuality, teamwork, and a positive learning attitude.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science (Mathematical Literacy is not accepted).
- N2 Engineering Studies (or higher) with all required subjects for your chosen discipline passed with a minimum of 40%, OR NCV Level 4 in the relevant trade with all subjects passed at 40% or more.
- A valid Driver’s License.
- Proof of residence, including the name of the high school attended.
- Ability to obtain a Medical Fitness Certificate.
