YES 4 Youth Learnership – 25 Positions Available

DHL Supply Chain South Africa is inviting applications for its YES (Youth Employment Service) Learnership Programme, designed to empower young individuals with workplace experience, hands-on training, and essential occupational skills. This learnership is an exceptional opportunity for youth who are ambitious, driven, and eager to grow within the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities

2. Equipment Handling and Reporting

3. Identifying and Reporting Non-Conformities

Any irregularities, damages, or non-conforming merchandise must be recorded and reported immediately as part of DHL’s quality standards.

4. Working Within Operational Zones

Learners will work in designated operational areas, which may change based on business demands. Adaptability and flexibility are key in meeting business and customer needs.

5. Following Standard Operating Procedures

Every task, from loading to offloading, must be performed in accordance with DHL’s operating procedures and safe working practices. Learners must strictly follow these guidelines to ensure safety and efficiency.


Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

To qualify for the DHL YES Learnership Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Matric/Grade 12 with English and Mathematics/Maths Literacy – Essential
  • South African citizen – Required
  • Aged 18–29 years
  • Must be unemployed at the time of application
  • BBBEE candidates only
  • Valid driver’s license (Code 08) – Advantageous
  • Valid forklift or reach-truck license – Advantageous
  • Certified ID copy
  • Certified Matric certificate
  • Updated CV
