Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated individual to provide support to an Electrician / Maintenance Technician by assisting with daily maintenance tasks and operational duties. This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude who is eager to gain experience in an agricultural and industrial environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
- Strong mechanical and electrical experience (both fields are essential)
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Valid trade certificate (advantageous but not mandatory)
- Relevant practical knowledge and hands-on skill in maintenance work
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform basic electrical work under supervision, including the use of electrical hand tools such as grinders, drills, and testing meters.
- Clean cables, electrical components, and equipment as part of daily maintenance routines.
- Follow all health and safety procedures while completing worksheets and maintenance tasks.
- Deliver high-quality, neat, and accurate work at all times.
- Participate in training and development programmes with the goal of obtaining relevant qualifications.
