Job Description
ArcelorMittal South Africa invites applications from individuals who hold a Grade 12 qualification to participate in a learnership programme aimed at training Process Operators at its Vanderbijlpark operations.
Successful candidates will enter into a 36-month Learner’s Agreement, which focuses on the steel manufacturing process. The programme follows a structured, outcomes-based training model that combines formal institutional learning with practical, on-the-job training. Continuous assessments and progress evaluations will form an integral part of the learnership.
A formal training contract will apply. The bursary covers approved training costs, personal protective equipment (PPE), institutional training fees, personal insurance, and a bursary allowance. Completion of the programme does not guarantee permanent employment.
Minimum Requirements
- A completed Grade 12 qualification with at least:
- English: 45%
- Mathematics: 40% or Mathematics Literacy: 50%
